Test slabs
General information
The Structure and Integrated Instrumentation Laboratory (SII) is equipped, within the vibration testing facility of the Nantes Centre, with two test platforms or slabs, measuring 9 m × 4 m and 15 m × 6 m, respectively. These platforms are isolated from the building structure and can be used to anchor actuators and test setups. Two pits also provide the possibility of installing excitation systems at floor level, such as a shaker table or guided table.
