Laboratory
The SII (Structure and Integrated Instrumentation) laboratory:
Its mission
is to conduct research in the fields of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and EIS (Engineering Sciences). This research contributes to the emergence of new methods of monitoring, diagnosis, and fault detection applied to structures and infrastructure in the broadest sense (roads, railways, marine renewable energy, buildings, networks, etc.).
Its mission is to
develop concepts for instrumentation and monitoring of structures
- Remote access, sensor networks, and embedded computing;
- Geolocation of autonomous vehicles;
- Wireless, energy optimization;
- Real-time measurement systems;
to propose multi-physics methods
- Imaging and signal processing;
- Monitoring of energy structures;
- Optics for continuous measurement of deformation and temperature in structures;
- Thermal for detecting buried defects and building thermal imaging;
- Vibration with consideration of environmental effects for structure monitoring, etc.
to carry out equipment assessments and approvals
